Did anyone else notice that the KSHAA.tv coverage of the State Championship matches for weights 106-132 were not covered? Instead they played an ever so informational program about the city of Hays. I was quite irritated because Smokey Hills TV advertised in the state program booklet that they would have live streaming but none of the people I knew were able to see it. Thank goodness I had the foresight to watch it on the kshaa site before I sent them my $25 for my sons (totally ignored and not aired) championship match.

Are you talking about online? Or on TV. Because ibam pretty sure the Smokey Hill station on TV showed the entire thing, but not sure about the online site.

on-line ... The Smokey Hills camera people told me to go to www.kshaa.tv to find it there. They were streaming everyone except 321A... It is uploaded on the site but they don't start showing the 1st place matches until the 138 weigh class. The people of Atchison County are not able to get that station so nobody could watch it as the streaming wasn't working on Sunday.

It's totally nuts that we don't have statewide broadcast of the High School state tournaments. I can't remember the reason, exactly, but recall that it had something to do with the state demanding $$$$ to do the broadcast and no stations are willing to pay the freight.
