I have to ask..... No Greg Tooley? The kid has smashed all his competition in the past 2 seasons in Ks. Beat McCormick from Missouri at the Metro, took 2nd at Rocky Mountain Nationals losing only to the #16 kid in the country, and took 4th at Folkstyle Nationals.

I don't want to discredit any of the studs on that board but I'd hope and pray he was your #8. I'd have him in the top 6... With that said, Chief you do a fantastic job covering this stuff and I love what you do. Keep it up.

First I want to start by saying that I have nothing but love for the Garden City wrestling program. Year in and year out Coach Prieto produces some of the best wrestlers in Kansas. I've watched Tevin since he was a middle schooler and even then you could see that he was going to be special.

As far as the "No love for western Kansas" comment goes, let's look at the stats.
Tevin is not without his blemishes. This year he took a KS loss to future Missouri Tiger Kevin Kissane. Not a bad loss, however its probably the loss that kept him out of the Super Seven.

Who would you replace from the list with Briscoe? PM me if you would feel more comfortable expressing your opinion in a private manner.

Lots of excellent wrestlers left off this list:
Briscoe
Tooley
Biddle
Stuart
Nolting
Prieto
Trowbridge
Frame twins
Caleb Austin
Watkins
Pesek

These are just a few names off the top of my head. The way I see it our state is getting deeper and deeper every year. It's truly exciting!

Wrestlers, if you want to see your name on this list then here's a not so secret secret to help up your stock. Wrestle the freestyle and Greco season. It will help up your stock, and not just for stuff like rankings but also recruiting as well. College coaches aren't just looking for guys who win. They want guys who want to train hard, love to compete, and will give their all every single match.
