Northeastern Oklahoma won the West-Central District qualifying event with 170.5 points. NEO received great efforts from four Kansas wrestlers with 133 lbs. freshman Curtis Burnett, Independence and 184 lbs. redshirt sophomore Jacob Hill, Augusta winning championships. Also 125 lbs. freshman Logan Terrill, Ark City and 165 lbs. freshman Saul Ortiz, Wichita Northwest both finishing third.

NEO advanced all ten wrestlers to the National Finals. Other qualifiers and District Champions were 141-Mitchell Sellers, Tahlequah, OK; 157-Dawaylon Barnes, Muskogee, OK; 174-Jacobe Smith, Muskogee, OK (MOW); 197-Josh Latham, Chickasha, OK; 285-Blake Andrews, Grapevine, TX. Finishing second, injury defaulting in the finals was Kristian Holguin-Mendez, Sapulpa, OK.
