We've got three clinics being offered right now, with a couple additional ones in the works:

  • Sunday, 11/12 -- Washburn Rural High School in Topeka (hosted by Topeka Blue Thunder Wrestling Club)
  • Sunday, 11/19 -- Louisburg High School (hosted by Wildcat Wrestling Club)
  • Sunday, 12/10 -- Ford County Sheriff Office in Dodge City (hosted by Gray County Wrestling Club)

To follow up on Randy's post, please remember that any coach wishing to participate needs to (1) have a current background check for the fiscal year, (2) complete the Safe Sport Certification, and (3) be a card-holding member of USA Wrestling. The first two items MUST be completed before you can get your coaches card. This will be done by your club directors.

You can sign up for the clinic you want to attend here: https://goo.gl/forms/0mRJPxKgP90X9JWt2

Contact Randy or me if you have any questions!

I just completed my safe sport cert, and it made me create a new profile with usaw. But now it doesn’t show my bronze certification that I completed in February of 2016, not does it show my coaches card. So now what do I do?

I had to create a new account too, and then pair my new account with the old one. Have you done that step yet?

If you've done that and the certifications you should have still aren't listed, let Mike Juby know. He said that the USAW folks are still working through some problems with the new system. There should be documentation and you'll get your situation fixed.

When I try to pair them, it only comes up with the new profile. I’ll get with Mike and see what he recommends

At the state body meeting Coach Johnson from Norton indicated he was going to do one in January. Do you know if that is still on, and if so when?

Our final Bronze Clinic of the season will be Sunday, March 4, at Chapman Middle School. You can register here: https://goo.gl/forms/CcIQaTK3cZHvu19p2

Coaches, please remember that you must have a CURRENT USAW coaches cards. It is your responsibility to (1) pass a background check and (2) complete the Safe Sports certification. Your club director needs to be sure to order your USAW coaches cards as soon as possible. You cannot attend a Bronze Clinic without a current coaches card.

This will be the FINAL clinic of the season, so this is your last chance!
