--Admission: Adults $5 Students $2 (Coaches must show USAW card for free entry)

--Please enter OW through entrance labeled “Event Entrance” on the Northeast facing side of the school.

--Full concessions available all day –available beginning at 6:30 AM

--For emergency safety, to eliminate mat congestions and to ensure everyone can see the mats, please . cheer, video and photograph your wrestler from the stands

--No Weight Changes allowed on Saturday(only Friday night before the Seed Meeting)…anyone not making
registered weight on Saturday AM will be scratched from the event.

--Held at OW in designated area. Wrestlers must weigh-in in a properly worn singlet. See rules below
for additional info. ALSO: No Parents or Coaches allowed in weigh-in area.

--Seeding Meeting: Starts at 6:45 PM on Friday March 8th at Olathe West in the Hospitality Room

--COACHES MEETING: 7:30 AM Saturday morning in the Wrestling Room

--WRESTLING STARTS: 8:00 AM
--No one allowed mat side without a Coaches Band. Two Coaches per wrestler/mat allowed.

--Split Session Format:
--8 AM Session: 10U & 14U & HS Divisions (HS division will run until completed)
--12:30 PM Session (Estimate): 8U & 12U (Subject to change based on number of entries per weight)

ADDITIONAL USAWKS RULES:
--All wrestlers must have a current USAW card.
--All wrestlers will follow all rules for USAW Kansas Kids Sanctioned Tournaments.
--Club directors will be held responsible for the actions of all their wrestlers, coaches and parents.
--When weighing-in, you will be required to have any special paperwork (i.e. skin silhouette form) and special equipment with you (mouth guard). If your wrestler has braces on their teeth, they must have their protective mouth guard at the weigh-in Wrestlers will have fingernails checked and skin checked for communicable skin disease or any other condition during weigh-in. No wrestler will be permitted to wrestle with ANY type of communicable skin disease. If a skin condition/issue is questionable, the tournament director will request that a skin silhouette form be obtained. If requested, you must have the approved silhouette form. Only this form will be accepted! The form must be filled out by a doctor and dated within the last seven days along with a note from the doctor’s note pad or letter head signed.
--Coaches Bands: Will be handed out ONLY during Friday night and Saturday morning. In order to obtain a Coaches Band, you must report the Coaches Band Table and present ALL of the following:
--2018-19 USAW Coaches Card
--Bronze Level Certification Card (check and make sure your name is on the list on the website below prior to the qualifiers) updated list will be provide closer to event date.
--Photo Identification
OTHER INFORMATION:
• ONLY banded coaches and wrestlers competing/getting ready to compete (up in 2) allowed mat side.
• MATSIDE Restrictions enforced. Spectators need to respect mat side restrictions or risk being removed from tournament.
• Clubs with 1st-4th placers, please advise District Directors (ASAP) if they are not continuing to the State tournament.
• 5th & 6th place will be wrestled to determine alternates
• Club Directors will submit one club check for all state qualifiers entry fees. Make check payable to USAW-KS District 1. Entry fee is $25.00 per qualifying wrestler.
• Please respect restricted areas of the facility. If found in restricted area, you risk being removed from tournament and facility.
• Keep aisle and stairways clear in gym.
• ONLY ENTRANCE THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE IS THE ONE LABELLED “EVENT ENTRANCE” ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF THE SCHOOL
