Hunter Price last year was Holton's 103varsity wrestler weighing in at 97lbs for most of the season. He was unbeaten at all duals except for RV , placing 2nd in our League tournament. He placed at all Varsity Tournaments including Mission Valley 2nd place, ClayCenter 5th place, Burlington 2nd place, and our own Sadowski 4th place. He started the season at 95lbs and ended up at 97lbs...was one match away from qualifying for state. I would also like to correct the statement saying he was pinned by Vieyra at the Southern Plains tournament. They were not on the same side of the bracket and did not even wrestle each other...Hunter placed 3rd...and Vierya placed 4th. This was the only Freestyle tournament that Hunter wrestled in over the summer and he was just coming off of a traveling week long summer camp. Hopefully this season Hunter will be able to wrestle at a weight class! I look to see lots of exciting matches as Hunter is a true competitor and will bring it!
