I think updating is required, sitting on information that others might find interesting is counterproductive to driving intrest in the sport we love.

Could be that the process is the issue, I'd suggest that a seperate sticky thread be placed at the top of the forum. One that contains the current rankings only. This would be a read only thread, and meet the needs of some.

The current thread would continue as is.......this is where the sausage is made, for those interested in who, what and why a change has been made, there they can read and comment on changes.

Just a suggestion....for me Sooner than later, more than less is how I like the content......I guess that is why I gave up my subscription to Sports Illustrated, waiting a week did not appeal to me.
