I would say all bordering states with kansas are very similar on a competitive level. I would give Kansas the edge in most cases.

Nebraska - Kansas is 2-3 levels tougher
Missouri - I would give Kansas a slight edge
Oklahoma - Depends on the year. But I did just listen to Dan Gable's commentary during the Okie State vs Iowa dual. Gable took time during the dual to talk about John Smith not being able to get the quality Oklahoma kids to his program that he once did.
Colorado - Kansas 1-3 levels tougher.

I would put good money on many Kansas wrestlers who are currently undefeated wrestling SJA's schedule and at the end of the year would still be undefeated. Nothing against SJA but you keep reminding everybody how tough the competition is you wrestle.

Not trying to take anything away from teams seeking competition and or wrestling out of state. But keep it in perspective. High school kids do not make and the schedules and most the time the coaches don't have much say either. But Kansas kids can compete and have proven it and will continue to.

I am really busy today and I am not sure a response as ridiculous this even deserves any of my time.

I don't know who you are so it is hard for me to understand how credible your opinion might be. Of course, the most ridiculous posts come from those who wish to remain unknown.

Last year's Metro Classic 41-19 Missouri. This year's Bobcat: 35 teams, 30 from Kansas and five from out of state. Four of the top 5 were out of state. 14 of 28 finalist were out of state.

Gardner, the top four teams from Gardner were from out of state. No finalist from KS until 145.

Yes, Oklahoma is down. We might be close to them now but we are still behind them. Tulsa Union crushes are best teams. We are ahead of Nebraska but we have a million more people. Lets just look at KC, MO. Blue Springs and Park Hill would crush our best teams. Colorado...lets talk about them after the Garden City tournament. You didn't mention Iowa... Your thoughts? KS is behind. There are great wrestlers in Kansas but the competition is spotty.
