Didn't call you an a$$ - I know for a fact that there were several state champions and runners up that didn't place at Brute last year. The great thing about Brute is that you only wrestle the same grade. So it makes it a more appealing to the kid that usually during the season (in MO Jan1 KS SEP1)wrestles some kids that are almost 2 years older. Example: My son is a great wrestler and he has qualified for state 3 years in a row but unfortunately has never placed. He has a July 20th birthday and I know for a fact that there is a HUGE difference from a maturity and physical standpoint when you're wrestling a kid that is a year let alone almost 2 years older. To a 10 year old that's 20% more experience. Almost like a 100 pounder wrestling a 120 pounder. Durogatory, "It is a bit of a joke"???
