Connor Middleton of
Olathe Northwest HS has signed to wrestle next year at
Baker University. Connor recently won his
second state title in the 2012 6A 160 division.

Just one day after winning its first-ever Kansas Cup, the
Baker University wrestling team announced the signing of
Olathe Northwest High School standout
Connor Middleton.
Middleton, a 5’9 dual athlete in football and wrestling has a well-decorated high school career and looks to continue to pursue two sports while attending college.
On the football field in 2011 Connor was the captain of the Ravens and
was named to the All-State 6A team, All-Sunflower League first team, and All-State 6A honorable mention Topeka Capitol-Journal/Wichita Eagle squad.
On the mat, Middleton currently owns a
career wrestling record of 157-11 after being named an
NHSCA Jr. Nationals All-American in 2010 to go along with his state championship. He was also named to the Kansas City metro honorable mention squad and was the
Olathe News Wrestler of the Year in 2010.
“Connor will be a great addition to our program,” said head Baker wrestling coach Jimmy May. “He’s a quality athlete that should come in and contribute immediately.”
