Javier Vieyra of Salina South HS will be signing to wrestle at Augustana College of SD this week on Wednesday April 11th.

Javier first qualified for 5A State as a freshman in 2009. The next three years he placed 2nd at 5A State including this year when he was State runner up at 5A 113.

There is another topic on Javier's decision to go to Augustana College and his high school wrestling and academic accomplishments. In that topic it was pointed out that Javier has been voted Class President by his classmates, he is a member of the National Honor Society, and also earned 1st Team 5A All Academic Team honors. He has demonstrated leadership, athletic and academic excellence in his high school career.
