I received an e-mail from Coach Andy Albright that two wrestlers from Chanute HS will be wrestling next year for 2012 NCJAA National Champions Labette CC.



Skylar McGinnis was a 2012 4A State Qualifier at 182 with a 21-13 record.

Sam Son was a four time state placer with an outstanding 167-11 overall career record as follows.

Freshman year 4A 2009 State: 2nd at 145 41-6
Sophomore year 4A 2010 State: 2nd at 152 38-4
Junior year 4A 2011 State: 3rd at 152 44-1
Senior year 4A 2012 State: State Champion at 160 44-0

Sam Son is also a 2012 KWCA All Academic Team HM.
