Have you thought about doing a tour series to raise money? They do this in Nebraska and the college wrestlers officiate the tournament. Seems like a good way to college wrestlers involved and staying connected to the youth. From what I hear they raise a good amount of money for the colleges."
We have discussed and are open to any ideas. I know most of the colleges do camps and clinics for youth and high school wrestlers. We do use some current and former college wrestlers to help with local tournaments - but more could be done. The biggest challenge I see - is that schedules are conflicting. No doubt - the more the college teams are involved with youth and high school wrestling the better.
