Very interesting and uplifting article for me that brings back memories of how the Kansas College Wrestling fund was started about four years ago in reaction to the UNO wrestling program being dropped after the UNO squad had won another national title. It is great to hear that Coach Denney stayed in the game and is establishing what looks to be another powerhouse program at Maryville. Congratulations to Coach Denney, his assistants, wrestlers and all others making this happen at Maryville. His hard work and committment to his wrestlers achievement both on and off the mat is exemplary and is the essence of the Kansas College Wrestling Fund's mission for the young wrestlers of our state.
