Our plans are now focused on entering the NWCA/USAW National Scholastic Duals on April 14-16, 2016!
The invitation process will stay the same with the exception of including only our underclassmen, 9-10-11th graders. Based on the final All-Class rankings, invitations will be extended to fill two full teams.
LOCATION and DATE: April 14-15-16 Knowlings Fieldhouse, Allen Athletic Center Wabash College Crawfordsville, Indiana
There is a 5 pound weight allowance over the NFHS weights.
The teams are seeded in the competition with advancement from smaller preliminary brackets to championships pools. This allows the top teams to all wrestle each other. The level of competition continues to rise, with several teams bringing the very best wrestlers from their state. Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, Virginia and Kentucky have been the top teams the past couple of years. Twelve time Scholastic Duals champion Pennsylvania promises to return in 2016. Other teams that have competed in the Scholastic Duals include teams from Michigan, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Delaware, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Oregon, South Carolina, Maryland and New York.
