That is a call that is rarely missed. I have not often witnessed an obvious punch, club to the head, etc. go un-called. In no way am I implying it didn't happen. If it was the head official not calling obvious misconduct then I would recommend informing the VIPs of Kansas wrestling or a board member of KHSAA, because that should not fly. Like I said our sole purpose out there is to protect the kids. It is a rough sport, but there is a clear difference between wrestling with intensity and intentionally trying to cause harm towards an opponent. No matter what the level of competition is.
