BALDWIN CITY, Kansas – The Baker University wrestling program under the direction of head coach Cody Garcia is excited to announce it's second annual "Week in the Den" wrestling camp on July 24-27 on the Baldwin City campus that will feature Penn State University wrestling head coach and USA gold medal winning wrestler Cael Sanderson.
"We are excited to welcome Cael and the Nittany Lion crew back to Baker University to team up with the Wildcats for a "Week in the Den", said Garcia. "Last year was an awesome experience for the campers and something we are looking to build and improve on with a new date and more national titles added to the list of counselors and clinicians.
"Coming off of a historical performance at this year's NCAA championships, Penn State's brand of bringing points, passion, and enjoyment to the sport is very evident. The style and mindset is contagious and we feel honored to create this opportunity to help the growth and development of future champions in the area."
The camp will feature two age groups, a 6-12th grade camp and a K-5th grade technique camp only. The 6-12th camp will feature a resident price of $350 that includes instruction, room & board etc., while the commuter cost is $275 and does not include room or board.
