PLACE:                       Maize High School, 11600 W. 45^th Street N., Maize, KS

                                    (Maize Road to 45^th Street N., West on 45^th 3/4 mile)

WEIGH-IN:                  Friday 6:30-8:00 p.m. (all ages) at the Maize High School                                   

                                    Saturday 6:00-7:00 a.m. (all ages) and 11:00 to 12:00 (10 -12 yr olds) at

 Maize High School. No Add On or Weight changes!

COACHES MEETING:          7:30 a.m.

WRESTLING STARTS:         8:00 a.m. MORNING SESSION (6, 8, 14 year olds)

                                                1:00 p.m. approximately AFTERNOON SESSION    (10 & 12 year olds)

ENTRY FEE:                          $20.00 per wrestler (NON-REFUNDABLE)

Entry fee must accompany entry.  Make checks payable to

“Maize Wrestling Club”.

ENTRY DEADLINE:              Friday- January 29, 2010

                                                Limited to the first 900 paid entries.  

                                                THIS IS A SANCTIONED EVENT. USA CARDS ARE REQUIRED!

AWARDS:                               “Battle Of the Belt” A Real Championship belt for the

                                                 champion of the Championship bracket. 3" Medals Awarded to 2^nd,

                                                  3^rd & 4^th. In the “B” bracket, 3" Medals ONLY, NO BELT to top 4 places. 

AGE AND WEIGHT DIVISIONS (AGE AS OF AUGUST 31, 2009):

6 & UNDER:           37,40,43,46,49,52,55,58,61,64,67,70, HWT*

8 & UNDER:           40,43,46,49,52,55,58,61,64,67,70,73,76,80,88,HWT*

10 & UNDER:        52,55,58,61,64,67,70,73,76,79,82,85,90,95,100,110,120,130,HWT*

12 & UNDER:        60,64,68,72,76,80,84,88,92,96,100,105,110,115,120,130,140,150,165,HWT*

14 & UNDER:        75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,150,155,160,165,175,HWT*

We will only have Two Brackets per weight and age group. A Championship bracket (all A & B wrestlers) and a “B” bracket (C & D wrestlers). .

Please rate wrestlers:

A – State contender          B – Above average          C – Average          D – Beginner

The FIRST 16 requested for the Championship bracket  will  be entered into that bracket. A & B Wrestlers will AUTOMATICALLY be ENTERED INTO the Championship bracket if we need to fill a bracket.  All other wrestlers will be placed in the “B “ bracket.
