Let the games begin!

This happened last year after the registration deadline was met. Some districts (track wrestling) released names and weight. We ALL play the game of what is the best bracket for each kid. IMOP, keep it locked down until ALL seeding meetings are done. Up to each district to do this. No draft dodging, come Sunday.

I'm sure this is one the site somewhere but does anyone know for sure if you can wrestle up in age groups. If a kid is 14 and in 8th grade can he wrestle high school or must he stay in his age bracket? Same with 12 year old wrestling 14 and under. I told a buddy of mine his kid couldn't move up age brackets but he thought this was now allowed.

You didn't used to be able to move up an age division to the best of my knowledge.

Spexy, As for releasing the entries I say "let them out". If someone wants to dodge let em dodge.. And if they want to step on to tracks when the trains coming let em get slammed. Adds to the fun

All sites will be open to public at 11:59 tonight and close at 11:59 pm on friday until after the seeding mtg is complete and brackets are built. You can only wrestle outside your age division in three cases 1) if you are a 14u HS freshman you may also wrestle in the HS division 2) if exceed the max weight of your age division you may wrestle up one age 3) you qualify and received a special needs exemption.
