Last Chance Oldtimers - 03/31/06 08:28 PM

Getting near the 12 hour mark to shed those final pounds for those coming to Wellington for the Old-timers tourney Saturday April, 1st.

This isn't a fools joke either.

Curtis and Crew,

Had a great time and thought the competition was excellent. I am loving my bumps and bruises today and hope I can get in better shape next year so I can be more of a challenge.

Thanks again for the opportunity, Hossus

It would be great to coordinate something to have the Topeka Seaman and the Wellington tournament on different weekends. I saw the results for the Seaman old timers and a lot of guys from Oklahoma City went up to there...might add quite a bit more guys if they were done on different weeks? Just a suggestion.

I agree, we are having ours the first weekend in April next year, maybe Gocke can work something out. They are a lot of fun and there are a lot of competitive matches.

Who is the guy who beat Curtis Chenoweth? I've never heard of him, just curious...

We will claim him at SFT. He was a state champ in 99 and runner up in 00. Lost to some guy named Silvis... He is tough.

Good to see Kenny Taylor Jr. has still got "it". Just wondering if he did any flips after he won?

Didn't see any flips, but did see a couple slick takedowns.

What's Bruce from Ark City up to? I haven't seen him since he won state in 03.

I know someone else he lost to

If only I could still wrestle, I'd could come to these old timers and mop up the place, but alas the old shoulder won't let me.

I remember runnign into Moore at a club/bar in Emporia when I was back with Aaron Lane one time. Moore was a bouncer and someone tried to bounce him by shoving him...he dropped and hit a sweet double on this guy and the whole place then cleared out like he said to begin with!
