Not sure if he'll be there but for the state I'm thinking Will Irvine from Chapman and Denis Farleigh from Pratt if they are at that weight will be tough.

Scott City should be pretty good depending on where everyone lands in the middle weights

Sweazy how can you mention Irvine w/o mentioning Rush who beat Irvine three times in two weeks last year
in Southeast Kansas I'd watch out for Joey Hambleton only a sophomore, but went to stte last year in a very tough bracket.
Don't leave out Cook from Goodland either.
Jonas will be tough if he's at 160 again too.

Because Irvine is from the town I live in so I have better tabs on him. Is there a litter of Rush in Clay Center? That name has been around for a while.

Nick Zahm beat Joey Hambleton when he won state last year, but Nicks a good wrestler.
well of course nick is going to beat joey, but he didn't beat him very bad 4 or 6 points i think at regionals...nick also beat erisman so i mean there was a huge talent gap, between joey and nick last year, joey was a freshman and nick was a senior, anyways LC has a new coach and look for Joey to improve on last year

Tyler Hamilton beat Hambleton and hes from Columbus too.It doesn't matter what grade your in its all about how good u wrestle.
ok, i guess we will just see this year, just remember joey did go to state and came extremely close to placing. Best of Luck to you this year
2 points from placing, and the default was against schmale i think and joey was beating him when chad got hurt

Joey Hambleton was the best freshman I wrestled last year. I think he is only going to get better this year. Good wrestler with lots of room to improve.
Denis Fairleigh will be extremely tough... he was the only person in the State tournament to not get pinned by Taplin?
My money will be on Aliensteve ..... except, of course, I can't bet any money as that would be unethical ..... so, I'll just say I think he'll be there ..... and I'm thinking probably opposite Jonas
joey hambleton is not wrestling 160 he is going to stay at 152 so he is one you should watch out for at 152

I read in another post that Dennis is out with a knee injury this year. Is this true? I also saw that J. Schroeder wrestled 160 this past weekend for Andale. They had him listed as 152 in the preview.

Dennis is out for the year to my understanding, although I'd love to see him rehab his way back onto the mats in the nick of time.
