under garment in wrestling - 01/18/04 01:32 AM

I was just wandering if any teams were checked for underwear this weekend ?? Does anyone have an opinion on weather wrestlers should or should not have to ware underwear. Is there a rule about this and what is it and the number of the rule and page number in rule book.

Re: under garment in wrestling - 01/18/04 12:38 PM

Just asking a question on a topoic. I see that I got responses from the usual ones who can not answer a simple question, but yet own a pc and can type. Seems like U guys just want to tell me I can not spell (that I know) or challenge my being a good parent. I feel sorry for your kids if God allowed U to have any. Also I noticed that the ones with the biggest mouths do not post a name or address on their profiles. So answer me this question R U an idiot or just a sore looser ???? That ot to be a simple enough question to answer.. :p

At the sake of taking a departure from usual well thought-out and intelligent commentary of this forum, the answer to the question is yes, all wrestlers are required to wear a proper undergarment under their singlets. Failure to do so will result in the same penalties as taking the mat without headgear, taped laces, etc. Some equipment companies are offering lycra undergarments now that are supposed to be much more comforable than regular underwear.
Hope this answers your question.

BIG RED, Thanks for you reply. I do hope that you were expressing sarcasm when refering to this form as well thought-out or intelligent !!(in alot of the posts except for tounament results and such ) I still would like to know the rule # and page and what is considered "proper". Again thank you for your "intelligent" response to my question. You are way ahead of the other replys here so far.

It's on page 14 of the current NFHS rule book. Rule 4, Section 1, Article 1-C.

You're welcome Trigger's Dad. Since I'm assuming you're asking a legitimate question, I'm glad to help. As for those whose own fascination of the more preverse side of the matter goes, have a nice time. It says a great deal, doesn't it?

Re: under garment in wrestling - 01/18/04 07:06 PM

Big Red,
Yes, my original post was a legitimate question about underwear. I guess my spelling has become the main issue though. I sure would hate to be a kid of someone who can not answer a simple question but instead becomes defensive and makes insults. Must be **** at home !! Also it is very hard to have a battle of wits with unarmed people :p .Thank You again for the ONLY intelligent answer I received... SO MANY PROOF READERS HERE WHY DO PAPERS HAVE SO MANY TYPE O's ????

triggers dad-
have you never read this forum before? This is not the wrestling forum, this is the comic releif forum for those of us w/ a sense of humor that are tired of being pursecuted during practice for laughing. the only requirment for post is putting some thought into your writing (unless of course you are coach luedke, then you never think, just yell the first demeaning thing that comes to your bald head.)

Re: under garment in wrestling - 01/21/04 02:53 AM

Triggers dad, you are my friend. Whats your favorite color pal?
Posted By: TIM JORDAN

Re: under garment in wrestling - 01/21/04 03:01 AM

Mullets Rock,

Favorite Color ?? Hard question. It depends on where I am going or doing, or what is written on it. I did quit wearing black most of the time after I sold all of my Harleys, except when going to Trojan sporting events. I quit smoking 5 months ago and have put on a couple of pounds. I may b pushing 200 now. WOW but I do feel better, and don't smell like an ash tray. Why do U ask about my favorite color ?? Am I getting a present ??
Posted By: Glick125

Re: under garment in wrestling - 01/21/04 03:06 AM

No, I was just wondering. My favorite color is probably canary yellow, even after I sold my bird:(

No, unfortunately I wont make it. But anyways, best of luck to your son and Beloit this weekend. Unless one of them ends up wrestling good ol Eric Goehring of course.
