130 around the state

wanted to see how people did around the state did this weekend. and if there was any big time matches this weekend, maybe some state previews?

ya the best one i can think of is Tanner Dawson and Wes Barrett. Wes won 11-9 but totally dominated Dawson. He took him down two or three times and put him on his back twice. Great win for Barrett. He also won most Outstanding Wrestler.

Thats a nice win for Barret, I thought that dawson would totally dominate this year after being state champ

It's early on, you never know how the final showdown will turn out.... it outta be a good finish though

Marc Sommers DOMINATED everyone this week at the Eudora tourney. He beat lil Flynn in the finals 16-2.

im pretty sure that barret goes to el dorado. correct me if im wrong

At the Derby tournament at 130, lil Fisher, Wes Barrett, and Marc Sommers will all be there. Any predictions on who will win that one?

Liam Kastor lives in Dallas, Texas now and he will also be going to the Derby tournament. And as I recall, Bishop Lynch was there last year so adamsen will be at 130 as well.

who is adamson and what weight will kastor be at

kirk Godfrey got second at perry tournment, and his only other loss is to adamson of bishop lynch.

dak or riley adamson, riley is amazing dak is real good to but not as good as riley

Being a lawrence kid I would have to go with sommers, but ive never seen barrett wrestle, and i havent seen lil fisher wrestle in a while, but sommers is wrestling so good right now.

Detmer got 3rd at Ark City, his loss was to Adamson too and he only lost by one point, not too bad for a freshman....i think he might give deshazer a few fits.

Too bad they won't be at Derby. We went to 3 tournaments in Oklahoma this year where we were told they were going to be there. Riley has been beatable this year, not placing at Super 32, and coming in 2nd in the OK Open in the high school division. We also have a pretty good friend who wrestled him really close this year. They are both great wrestlers and we hope they are at the Derby tournament next year.

That's funny that you say that because my sophmore year I wrestled Luke Silver from Bishop Lynch in the finals at Derby.

Hey I'm not trying to say he didn't beat me fair and square but to already make the assumption that he will win again when we had such a close match doesn't sound fair to me...it was a 2-1 match...and those two points he got were from ME...he had recieved a locked hands call for 1 point...and then later my coach told me to cut him, which gave him his other 1 point...sry if im coming off as a dick I just don't like anyone just automatically saying I'm going to loose....thats what we wrestle the matches for...if it were up to all you guys, then why train so hard if its already 'pre-determined'...Yea I usually don't make posts like this and I hope this is my last one like it but yea continue with the forum fun...

Man 130 looks tough Chase Moses, Kirk Godfrey, Liam Kastor, Wes Barrett, and is Deshazer there? Looks like it'll be tough, I wouldn't assume anything.

with a group of guys like that you cant assume anything, it could go anyway

chase wasn't trying to say you can't win but your buddy was the one that said moses is going to win, talking about derby tourny, but it will be a good tourny for that weight.
