Are the JoCo Classic results for 103 correct? Isn't the second place finisher, Williamson, from Mill Valley?

You're right, egg. I fixed it, thanks! Didn't mean to mix up credit for anyone's victories. There were some great championship matches yesterday. Who's got a favorite?

Nick Shumate vs. Adam Almaguer and
Mark Millstead vs. Aldon Isenberg were both fun nailbiters to watch

And how about the Jed Mamie, Neil Erisman match. It was closer the the score indicated.

Re: Johnson County Classic - 12/19/05 08:45 AM

Thomas Moore Prep out of Hays area...it's a 4a most the time.

Re: Johnson County Classic - 12/20/05 04:47 PM

I thought Mamie/Erisman was a good match, too. I hadn't seen him taken down twice in a match since who, was it Zahm? You also don't see someone cut Neil too often, either. Good hard match by two good wrestlers.

Re: Johnson County Classic - 12/20/05 06:58 PM

looks like GE is very solid which will make 5A even tougher than it already is

I wasn't there and I would like to hear more about this match. Could anyone give more detail on it? It sounds like it was a very good match of two very quick and competitive bigger wrestlers.

Re: Johnson County Classic - 12/21/05 04:15 PM

Erisman was up by about 4, Maime cut him and took him down in the third, then cut him again but i dont think he got another takedown
