These wrestlers have secured their spot on the Cadet Dual team in Daytona Beach, FL on June 10-14. There will be a challenge tournament at the Cadet Dual Camp at St. James on June 6-8. The deadline to submit a petition to challenge is tonight at midnight. The challenger must beat the state champion two out of three to gain a spot on the team.

Head Coach Travis Keal emailed this out about one week ago, I just wanted to remind everyone of this information. Also, any unpaid balance will be taken care of upon arrival at Prep Camp.

I wonder if these duals were in the center of the country again - No Minnesota, No Wisconsin, No Iowa, etc - who else, ND, SD, AZ, I did not look real close but I noticed several states were not represented. It should be the goal of USA Wrestling to get more teams and more opportunities - That being said Washington, California, and Utah made it. I just think geography/location, airports and location in relationships to overall membership should be a consideration.

Wisconsin's USA organization voted to forgo the duals and use their funds to focus on regionals to qualify more cadets and juniors for Nationals, Fargo.

The next two years the duals are in Harrisburg, PA. This location will be a tough travel destination as well. The argument is that the coasts don't ever get to host...
