Middle School Programs?

Hi Everyone, I am just looking to get some preliminary info to work with. I am currently the high school girls coach in Basehor, but my hope is to build a girls middle school program. So any help in answering some questions would be awesome and greatly appreciated!

If you have girls wrestling at your middle school:

1) Do you have a girl's specific program?

2) If not, how many girls do you have in the middle school program?

Great Bend has their first Girls Only Wrestling season that just started on 1/5.

I could be mistaken but I believe the WAC League (Hays, Dodge, Liberal, and Garden City) all started at the same time with Girls MS Wrestling.

If you have girls wrestling at your middle school:

1) Do you have a girl's specific program?

Not at this time, however, Coach Thompson and myself this year coached our Junior High with his focus more on the boys and my focus more on the girls. However, this year we practiced together and helped with coaching both in the room and at meets.

2) If not, how many girls do you have in the middle school program?

This year our Junior high girl numbers grew to where we started with 15 girls and finished with 12.
