I've had this though for the past couple years actually, but it never really was a big deal to me. Now it directly affects me.

Why does Kansas not add a University/Open division to Freestyle/Greco state?

Seems like a good idea for many reasons, mainly:
1-What better way to promote college wrestling in Kansas than to provide an opportunity for it?
2-State is late enough in the year that pretty much everyone would be done with school and home.
3-Get to watch the best wrestlers from Kansas (and elsewhere now) at the college level, RIGHT HERE, and allows old guys, like me now, who still wanna compete and opportunity too.

Just a thought since I got to a computer after a couple weeks.

I think that would be good, because if the wrestle in state maybe to prepare more of them would do open divisions at the other Trnys. They WHY trny had an open division and I know hays used to have one during their fs/gr trny they used to have and many of the FHSU guys would wrestle in it.
