A couple of parents were talking about getting warm-ups for all of the kids on our team. The question I have is how do other clubs handle this? Do you just have the parents pay or do they "rent" them from year to year? Thanks for any replies.
On our wrestling team the club pays for the warm ups and singlets, we "rent" them to the kids. Actually we charge a 75.00 deposit and when they return them in, good shape that is, we return the 75.00.
Derby club also pays for the team uniform (singlet and warmup jacket) and the parents pay a deposit of 30$ which is refunded at the end of the year provided the uniform is returned in good condition.

Our club buys the warm-ups and then charges a $75.00 deposit each year, which we hold in a safe deposit box and at the end of the year they turn them back in. When they are returned they receive their deposit check returned. We are planning on getting new warmups at the beginning of next year so at the close of the season this year each wrestler will have the opportunity to buy their warmups. We usually get new warm ups every 3 years.
