I heard they did a nice tribute/ dedication to Coach Kuhn at the Hays Tournament last weekend, renaming the tournament after him. Something that guy really deserves after all the years he has put into that program. Was anyone there to see it?
I was, Kuhn is a great guy and has been around HHS wrestling for, I believe, around 30 years. The ceremony was emotional and it really showed how many people support him and appreciate everything he has and still is doing. Many former wrestlers for HHS located in Tx, OK, and other states were there.
It was Great! I thought it was a well deserved tribute, I remember wrestling against his team in the 80s and how he always complimented us after each match. Bob you are a Great Man and a Great instrument to the wrestling community. Thanks for all your hard work, unfortunately this was our last year there and I was glad to be there to see the tribute.
