Mr Broadbent, what clubs are coming to the Mill Valley tournament this weekend? How many wrestlers so far? Just curious.

Mill Valley, Olathe E, Olathe N, Olathe S, Kaw Valley, STA, Paola, Bonner Springs, Manahattan, East Kansas, Tomahawk Creek, etc. We have a little more than 500 and estimate about 550 to 600 tops.

I havent received Bonners yet but based on verbal I expect to. Here is a list that are not on the previous post. Not in any particular order.

Just received Bonners!

Ottawa, Jungle Cats, Spring Hill, Sunflower Kids, Louisburg, Desoto, Tongie, Osawatomie, Predators, Piper, Bishop Ward, Wamego, Slammers, Anderson County, Topeka T-Birds, Eudora, Emporia, Linn County, KC Rebels, Lawrence, Johnson County Renegades, Baldwin, Atchison, WyCo, Ft. Leavenworth, Turner, Vikings, and a few coming up from Texas.

If there are others out there that dont see your names on this list, but thought you were entered, please send me an e-mail. Should be some very good wrestling. We will be bracketing wednesday so if anyone still needs entered let me know tuesday at the latest!

luv2wrestle,

I would like to know if you have seen the list of entries for this tourney?? I can tell by your comment that you have no clue who is here. I would also like to know your identity. I have sent you a private message so I hope you would be so kind as to respond.

With regards to the "Novice wrestlers" at our tourney. I hope this "luv2wrestle" is a wrestler and I hope some of you who are a little more advanced "Novice wrestlers" are paired up with him.

Please think about what you post and kindly remove the above remarks.

Jeff Broadbent - Mill Valley Wrestling Club

THANK YOU FOR REMOVING THE REMARKS! jb

Amen. While it's true that a lot of the big hot-shoes will be at the classic, I think that leaves a rather large contingent of (NOT) "novices" at the other tourneys this weekend.

Quite a few people avoid the "drafty ole mule barn" for a variety of reasons. We have several Varsity H.S. kids that are worn down, and wanted a more relaxed weekend (and a shorter drive) prior to starting Subs; so they are going to Parsons. I doubt they would be classified "novices".

Thanks Will & Jeff. We look forward to a great tourney this weekend to get ready for subs! Let's just hope the ice let's up and makes the drive easier by Saturday!

Well, the last entries are coming in and it looks as though we will have nearly 650 wrestlers at Mill Valley. A lot of good clubs coming, as well as some very impressive names. Just what we need before we head into Sub-District. I would like to "Thank" all of you for signing up, and we will see you at weigh-ins. Remember to wear a singlet to weigh-ins because we will weigh in singlets to prepare us for Sub-District. There will be friday night (6:30 - 8:00 PM) and saturday morning (6:30 - 8:00 AM) weigh-ins.
