McDonald County has extended our deadline for entries for the Freestyle & Greco Tournament this weekend (Saturday, April 7th) at McDonald County High School (in Anderson, MO - southwest corner of state). We will take entries up until Saturday morning at the conclusion of weigh-ins. We are giving out trophies for the champions in both styles and medals for 2nd & 3rd places. Cost is $12 for Freestyle or Greco only, and $20 for both styles. We currently have wrestlers from the following clubs entered (Tiger Pit Wrestling Club / Nevada; Wildcat X-treme / Neosho; Stillwell, OK; Bentonville, AR; Seneca; Diamond; Monett; Team Central Southwest; Joplin; Comet Wrestling Club/ Westphalia, Lebanon, and McDonald County) varying from ages 5years old through high school. Just e-mail or call in name, birthyear, and what style(s) they are wrestling before Friday, April 6th. We will have a weigh-in from 6:30am-8:00am and remote weigh-ins at home sites are allowed for those who enter by phone or e-mail before Friday. For the remote weigh-ins, just bring a sheet with the exact weight signed by a club coach or school official. Entries can be paid at site. Any questions feel free to contact me.
