Ottawa Mat Masters Mason Turner wrestled in Florida's Sunshine State games that took place at Inverness,fl. on 6-16-07. He was in a 8 man bracket, he cruised to 18-0 in first match, pin within the first 30 second in the second match, and in the championship match 15-0. Coaches that has seen him at previous tourneys say's he is a force to be reconded with and no one in the 45-55 lbs that can come close to his aggresive style of wrestling, not hurting no one but consistantly putting combonations of moves and staying busy not letting up.As a coach and father I was pleased that coaches and other wrestlers recoginized Mason's talents and determination to win. Coaches have heard about Kansas wrestler's and enjoyed watching him in action. Again a big THANK YOU to everyone who has played a part in our childrens wrestling development. Rick Croucher, Matt Parenti,and Chanute's Jr Comets head coach and Kenny Ornelas and president Curt Rylant for getting our boys started and believing in them.On one final note Mason's Florida record is 18-0, with 5 tournament championships. Jaymez is 12-2; with 2 championships and 2 seconds.
