Age: Wrestler's age as of January 1, 2008
Weigh- Ins: Sunday, 12:00pm-1:30pm

Remote & Saturday weigh-ins may be used. Call or email for more
information. Wrestlers must wear a singlet to weigh- in.

Wrestling begins: 1:30 PM
Tournament Format: We will be using 4, 5 and 6 man round robin brackets.
Length of Periods for Divisions 1 & 2: 3 periods of 1 minute each.
Length of Periods for Divisions 3-5: 3 periods of 11/2 minute each.

This is a USA sanctioned tournament. All wrestlers and coaches must have a current
USA card. NFHS rules apply. The head official's decisions are final.

Awards: trophies for 1st & 2nd place, medals for 3rd & 4th place
Team Trophy: Team w/ most points (1st place =4pts., 2nd place =3pts., 3rd place =2pts.,
4th place =1pt.)
Concessions: Breakfast, Lunch drinks and snacks

We will be hitting this tourney right after the TOC--should be a good one, as the Seneca one was very good earlier this year.

Thanks for the note steelfrog, we'd like to invite all kansas wrestlers and wrestlers from other states (such as Texas), this is an open tournament in Anderson, MO (southwest corner of Missouri about 30 minutes south of Joplin of Hwy 71). This will be our second consecutive year hosting the tournament and we plan to do our best to get everyone mat time and get everyone out by a decent time (approximately 6:00pm). This is an Open Tournament on Sunday January 27th, we will run it on 6 mats with 7 high school certified officials from both Kansas and Missouri. We will have wrestlers coming from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. We will start at 1:30pm to accomodate those who go to church. We expect the tournament to be over by 6:00pm. Hope to see you all there.

We are still taking entries until 10pm tonight (Thursday night 1/24/08). Entries will be posted sometime tomorrow (Friday).
