Could be interesting in Norton this weekend with 4 of top 5 teams in 3-2-1A participating; Scott City, Beloit, Smith Center and Norton.

In the past SC has not been able to field a full team and thus performed better as a team in the larger tournaments due to their quality of wrestler (see state results 06 and 07). This year they are full and it will be interesting to see if this helps them in the smaller tournaments. They did finish first at Holdrege despite being open at four weights due to illness, and some not making weight. Grand Island NW was runner-up.

Good tournament in Norton. Norton is the best "tournament" team in 321a. Smith Center is very tough up and down and deserves their ranking. Scott City looks like they will just get tougher as the season goes on. Beloit has some very good talent in the heart of their roster. They lost matches in the semi's they expected to win.
