Can someone provide some history about these two and details about their most recent match? I hear that it was Deshazer's only loss of the year.
Knowing his family history a bit and seeing his TOTAL domination at the JC regional - his lone lost peaks my interest.
They will not meet again at state because they are in different classes - is this correct?
Thanks.

His toughest competition in 6A will be Zach Tanenbaum. Zach has beaten him before in kids wrestling. Deshazer has NEVER lost a match at Kid's State and has lost only a handful overall. Top to bottom 5A and 6A 103 and 112 are not very compeitive. There were only three entrants in each of these weights at one regional. 5A and 6A really need to be combined. One of the sad things about breaking up the classes, very often the best wrestling in Kansas never wrestle each other. I would love to see Callahan and Deshazer hook up!

Can someone provide some history about these two and details about their most recent match? Stokes defeated Daniel in a semifinal match at the Newton Tournament of Champions. I hear that it was Deshazer's only loss of the year. Correct! They will not meet again at state because they are in different classes - is this correct? Stokes will be participating in the 5A State Tournament and Daniel will be participating in the 6A State Tournament. Lastly, the correct spelling is DeShazer!

Deshazer has NEVER lost a match at Kid's State He did get 2nd in 1999 to Taylor Dwyer ... Parsons. So he has lost at least one match at Kid's State.

There were only three entrants in each of these weights at one regional. 103 & 112 are never going to be your most competitive weights. 321A, 4A, 5A, 6A... So I am not hearing that it's only in 5A and 6A.....

Michael Yet and still. Did ANYONE in 321A or 4A just show up and qualify for state? Since we know that at least 5 didn't show in one regional it means that 16 out of 27 wrestler qualified for state. In 6A there are 3 wrestlers with losing records for the season. In 4A there were 0 and 321A there was 1. Forvac, I didn't look that far back as he was a six and under wrestler then. I didn't think about him moving up to wrestle 8U. Taylor is two or three years older than Dap. Don't get me wrong, Michael, I am not saying that Dap isn't great but I am saying he doesn't have very many wrestlers that can push him. In 4A there are at least 6 that would require the whole three periods to defeat instead of 30 seconds or so.
