(From the 55 pounders, 38 kids, 64-man bracket)First the positive: It appeared that the bracket was arranged very nicely. There were really tough kids at every level.

We purchased a bracket like most everyone else and tried to follow along. However, because only the wrestlers' last names appeared on the bracket, it was hard to track anyone's progress. If the team name would have also been written down, it would have been much easier to keep track with the identification of the team singlet or coach's apparel.

There were also wall brackets, but understandably with that many participants, the wall brackets weren't updated overly quickly.

Adding the team name to the bracket is truly the only suggestion we have for this tournament. This was our first time to attend any state tournament and we were thoroughly impressed with Ottawa's standards, well ran tournament, and "big show" at the end. We drove 3 1/2 hours home, a couple of hundred dollars cheaper, and very pleased to have participated in such a fine event.

Totally agree! This tournament was incredible for the kids and had great competition. But when you have 40 plus wrestlers in your bracket from all over the state, it is impossible to keep track on you bracket. Team names would definitely help parents track the wrestlers progress on both sides of the bracket. Just a suggestion for the future.
