Received word in Phillipsburg today (and I hope this isn't rumor - then again maybe I do) that Jr. 135 pound State Champion Dustin Zahorsky will be wrestling for Silver Lake next season. A huge loss for Phillipsburg is a huge gain for Silver Lake. Zahorsky capped a great junior season with a state championship. Selfishly I wish he was staying in the area; however, I'm glad he'll remain a 3-2-1A wrestler.

Yes it is true. His mom and I received job offers in the Topeka area we could not turn down. We wanted to wait until Dustin was done with high school, but sometimes things in life do not go as planned. He is looking at it as a new opportunity to wrestle some different competition and meet new people. The plan is for him to attend Silver Lake but that could change as well, depends on housing in the immediate area. Anyone that knows Dustin, knows that he has never met a stranger and we think he will adjust well.

It is just 45 minutes from Topeka to St. James Academy. Live in Lawrence, work in Topeka and we would love to have Dustin join our program next year! Sorry Harry

I guess it is offical. Kerri and I started work in Topeka today. We have found a place in Silver Lake, however there are several people that think that Dustin should drive west about 5 miles to go to school. What do you think Harry? Let the bidding begin. Just kidding, Dustin will be attending Silver Lake. Harry promised a 1st born grand child or something like that, not sure. Anyway we are all looking forward to joining the Silver Lake family.
