The web site says the deadline is July 8th. Which is correct?

dadcoach,
Alex had 3 matches at as a 9 year old and I turned him in at 48lbs. The kids he wrestled were 7-10lbs. heavier than he was. He went 1-2. He wrestled quality competition. I even wrestled two matches myself. It's a lot of fun.

I know in the high school division one year at my weight I made it to the semis and lost to "One-Eyed" Joe Nelson of Wichita South 13-5. He wound up against David Karnowski of Wamego in the finals that Karnowski edged him on (Karnowski was NCWA champ for Kstate a year or so ago). Better comp/full brackets for high school age.

at 8&u 52 you could see Tyler Hensley. The past 2-3 years the numbers in the 8 &u were fairly low. But the quality of competition is high. You might get 3-4 matches.

I took 6 Pratt kids to the games this year, we all had a really good time and saw some fine matches! Although only one of our wrestlers was competing in the part of the building that most of the younger fellows were wrestling in, when I was there I saw several really well competed matches! in the older guys division, there were some really brutal matches, and some very fun matches to watch. This would be the third one of these that I have attended, one about 8 years ago at the Allen Field House at KU, one at Lawrence Free State HS, and this one, all were very hot, as it is pretty tough to cool such large areas this time of year, but the thing that I like the most about the Games wrestling tourney is that the attitude is just so casual, no in your face activity, no tough guy staredowns or pushing and shoving as the action goes to the edge of the mat, just a bunch of wrestlers having fun because they love to wrestle and don't care who has the tough reputation. I think that maybe having Fargo at the same time is a benefit, not a detriment!

Big Deal, Russell had a guy win it too....

Looks like the folkstyle 15-18 age group that 130 wasn't as loaded as I would have thought. I think I could have placed.... Swayz would you have placed in the "Older than Dirt" "Heavier than Lead" division?

Probably looked like only 2 guys in that weight. I am the type that would have not wrestled and just limped out there, defaulted and claimed my medal and tshirt then have a half page lay out in the local paper on how well I did at Sunflower State games.
