USGWA has already announced a girls tournament - the USGWA Kansas Championships - in Ellsworth on the same day. Are you saying that you are considering hosting a second girls tournament sanctioned by USGWA on the same day?
You guys do a good job recruiting and promoting girls wrestling in Doniphan County. I've enjoyed bringing my daughter to Troy in the past to compete. I am excited that you are interested in hosting a girls event - we need more tournament directors to provide girls these opportunities - but by scheduling two tournaments on the same day, are you setting both tournaments up for low turnouts? Is there an alternate date to host such a tournament so our girls don't have to choose between the two tournaments?

Thanks for your willingness to provide such a tournament. Its clear that USGWA was checking on a number of Kansas sites for the 2/27 tournament.
The Doniphan County Grizzlies are doing a good job developing girl wrestlers and it is encouraging to have you guys willing to put on a tournament. If not before, I hope to see you in Ellsworth on Feb. 27th.
