because its centrally located and tons more things to do for the kids. we have 2 malls for the shoppers along with a variety of movie theatres. have 2 sports zones. wichita is really 2 cities in one. there is the east side and the west side. take your pick but its better than everyone traveling 6-8 hours one way. thats for you up in the nw and down in the sw corners.
