1988 KWCA Hall of Fame inductee Dick "Big Daddy" Burns, the long-time wrestling coach at Bonner Springs High School, passed away on Monday night. Coach Burns had suffered a stroke about 15 years ago, but fought a valiant fight.

Services are pending, but I will provide an update when I get word.

prayers for the family. My mother just suffered a stroke and to battle for 15 years is something that a wrestler would do.
