The Ranking critic's comments:
The talk around the wrestlers in the state is that Rose is going 119, Dakin 125, and Sanchez 130. If so, all three of these wrestlers should be ranked. Nitcher has stated that he intends to wrestle 125, I don't see Penka at 125 and if he is he shouldn't be #1. You don't go from 2nd at 103 to #1 at 125 in one year. I thought Jake Sullivan wrestled 119 last year and now he is at 112? Wow! How does Victor Cruz get the nod over guys with years of experience and state credentials, that seems more like a prediction that a ranking. I am with 24/7, Blew should be number 2! Crank has told everyone he is going 140, and Watson 160. Nate Davis at 189, did he lose a limb??? Where is Jason Seibel? A Fargo AA and he doesn't get ranked??? Is his own father selling him short?
Now for the real laugher, did you draw the 103lbers out of hat? Where is Tommy Williams? Bo Pursel and Aaron Seybold should be at the top, maybe you inadvertently transposed your rankings?
Oh yeah, freshmen get no respect, I forgot that rule of thumb.
Others MIA: Ralph Salas, Tim Prescott, and Timmy Chadd, to name a few.
Seriously Greg, I do know you had to spend some valuable time on these, time you could have been spending with your wrestlers or your kids so I do appreciate your effort. To me it would just seem better to let someone outside of coaching handle these. These wrestlers email each other, use facebook, and talk. It seems crazy to me that they are saying they will be at one weight and their coach or maybe just the ranker is saying they will be at a different one. I am chilling, because I know it is just for entertainment.
