Congratulations to Coach Ross and his assistants for the outstanding job growing your program and winning both the SMNW Cougar Invitational and the Douglass Goodwill Invitational wrestling tournaments on Saturday. Very few, if any, Kansas high schools can split their squads and win two varsity wrestling tournaments on the same day.

This is the second year in a row Derby has split their squad and won two varsity tournaments on the same day. Very Impressive!

Thats a awesome thing to be able to do something like that. A great job should go to the derby coaches and the community for supporting wrestling the way they do.

Awesome Job!! We were at the Douglass Tournament and really enjoyed the cheerleaders! Newton cheerleaders are too good to come out and support our guys! Derby has a really great program and look forward to seeing more great wrestling this year! Again great job Derby!!
