The State Team Points have yet to be officially posted, but Mr. Salyer was nice enough to offer team points without the final corrections being made. Thanks Richard for your effort to issue the totals for team points as fast as possible. The team concept is important to a lot of kids, coaches and parents. The idea of team points gives a goal for each individual team to do better than the year before. "Team", this is a great and powerful word, every club should have a different idea of what there team should be. I'm very, very proud of what our "team" accomplished on the weekend of Kansas State Wrestling. If the final point total declares TOHK the champion's then great our team was able to be back-to-back “State Champions”. If the final point total declares Brawlers the “State Champions” then great. The Brawlers should be proud to have a first year club that did have many experienced wrestlers and finished so well. If any club set a goal and achieved what they set out to then that's awesome! The funny thing is the continuous negativity shown by the ones who didn't meet what was expected from them. These sad, sad people continue to spread the negativity virus to try and make everybody as sad as them. If I could I would like to name a few contenders for the Kansas Wrestling Forum State Championship. The first is Nigel the Negative; you do a fabulous job of passing on your negative energy to everybody on the forum. Mr. Negative you also do a good job of posting a comment and continually contradicting yourself in later post. Mr. Negative at least you provide your name with the comments. The next person that is in contention for the Kansas Wrestling Forum State Championship is the Martialartswrestler (a.k.a. Big words no name lady). The fact that you have so much time to relentlessly post 100% negativity is why you are a contender. In closing I would like to say congratulations to all of the Kansas Wrestling Teams for a great performance at State. The other thing that I noticed is that the complainers is always short of their goals. In our wrestling community we have people who work hard in practice and people who work hard on the forum. That's all I have for now, I have a commitment to run a few miles with some of my wrestlers before we go to practice.

Have a good day!

Once again, I will yell it to the people in the cheap seats...THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TEAM STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN KIDS WRESTLING...Never was, never will be...It is only unofficial and it's only a "bragging rights" thing...

However, if you are going to declare an "unofficial" team champ, don't just give points for teams that place kids first through sixth...Do it the right way and go through every bracket and score the entire bracket, giving 2 advancement points on the championship side of the bracket and 1 for the consolation side, along w/ 2 points for pins, DQ's, defaults and forfeits, 1 1/2 points for tech falls, 1 point for major decisions, then score the bonus points for placing as well...If you are going to do it, at least do it the right way!!!

Wow,

Im Jason McComb, I am a coach for TOHK, im sooooo proud that we might have won another non existant team title that no one cares about! Also I would like to say that Charlie actually runs the club and I have no say in what goes on in practice and none of the kids listen to me anyway. And the fact that im from TOHK automatically means that I have never been negative and we don't have a bad reputation for letting our wrestlers do and say whatever they want, flip off whoever they want, so on an so forth.

You see Mr. McComb by nature I am not negative it is your perception, If I mention that I saw a wrestler acting in the wrong way I am automatically negative cause I shouldn't have said anything. You have no room to talk about me in any sort of negative way just by your assiociation. And for the last time there is no such thing as a team title in kids wrestling. We call ourselfs a team, but all that means is we fall under a set of rules. And sportsmanship isn't really included under yours. Don't lecture me about the team concept... let me quote you real quick

"The other thing that I noticed is that the complainers is always short of their goals. In our wrestling community we have people who work hard in practice and people who work hard on the forum. "

How is this for falling short

Abilene

1998 10-0 Duals - NCKL Champs, Regional Champs, & 4A State Champions

1999 10-0 Duals - NCKL Champs,Regional Champs, & 4A State Champions

2000 10-0 Duals - NCKL Champs, Regional Champs, 4th State

2001 9-0 Duals - NCKL Champs, Regional Champs, 3rd State

2002 9-0 Duals - NCKL Champs, Regional Champs

2003 4A State Champions

Now tell me that anyone in Abilene has fallen short of their goals. Name another school in Wichita who can match this and I'll be quite.

Nigel, there are many new antidepressants on the market which don't have ED associated with them as a side effect.

Nigel, easy I think you tend to get a little too excited on your keyboard. I never questioned the success of your local High school team. I also never questioned why your local kids club finished in 34th place according to Richards post. I'm also aware that as far as team's go no awards are issued or recognized by the Kansas State Tournament. I'm sure your aware that there is no such thing as a Kansas Wrestling Forum State Championship either. If this site ever did have such a title you would always be in the money. Nigel, you have more negative posts about everybody than positives. I wasn't referring to only what you say about our team. Which brings me to my next reply: Absolutely Coach Knox is in charge of our team. My last post I always said our team, never did I say my team. Coach Knox has always been in charge of TOHK. All I'm saying is that I had a percentage of my time invested also. The way you described that talking to yourself thing that was pretty funny. Nigel, I have no personal grudge against you. The only problem that I had was you keep blasting kids and coaches publicly. I have seen several replies' that others don't appreciate this. Nobody on OUR team was kicked out of any of the two qualifying tournaments or state. By some of the post I think this disappointed a few people. There were people who did get kicked out of these tournaments. The point I continue to try and stress is don't gossip on the forum. The point system that was described in an earlier post is a great way if Kansas Wrestling ever did decide to have team points. In closing I would like to congratulate everybody on another great wrestling season in Kansas.

Have a good day!

It is true that some of my post are negative but that entirely depends on your perspective. Most of the time I say something about someone it is becuase they have done something negative themselves. Perhaps it is not my place to do this but im going to regardless. I do think I misinterpreted your loast post so for that I am sorry. I stand by all of my statements which is why I put my name on them instead of post anonymously. In any case this post is not about me so I will mane no futher comments in it.

Dear Problem Lady- I didn't see what you said happened and I'm not saying that it did or didn't happen. If any coach from any team did what you described then they should have been escorted out. I know that none of our coaches were escorted out so I will assume that the officials did a great job until other wise shown different. This seems to be your hobby to twist words and start trouble. I have seen your post that always have an agenda to start trouble, you are a troublemaker. If we had officials that kicked people off this site like they do in tournaments you should have been gone when you mentioned the comments about another coaches beads that he was wearing. The name you gave the beads was totally inappropriate to this site and closer to an adult site (if I misinterpreted this then I apologize). I have NO RESPECT for you at all!!! I think you are a troublemaker, your scared to leave your name and your are not a very creditable person. I also spoke to the people on my team and they didn't come close to saying what you put on your last post. We all agreed that if this would have happened that person would have been gone from the tournament. Problem Lady, how can anybody respect you as a creditable person when you are a self-proclaimed LAIR. In your closing signature you basically let us know that you're a troublemaker. I have seen several post by you where you get off on a tangent on any topic then turn around and try and say maybe this is true or maybe not, or maybe I'm trying to start a thought. This is why your words hold no truth with me at all. The topics that you discuss almost always are many times longer than what the topic is about. I never said our team was perfect, I will agree with our other coaches you mentioned by saying that we have area's that need some work. Most of the time I just laugh at you and your funny comments. The way you spelled Coach Knocks and your sentences also need some work. I never said that you weren't funny because I laugh at you every time you post, but you will get no respect from others and me by not posting your name. This subject should be closed due to insufficient evidence on your part, because your word is no good. If you ever disclose your name in the future I will give you immediate respect points, but until then you're a troublemaker. Please stop posting your annonous trouble-making lies about anybody and everybody. If I have to reply then you win because I'm consistently very busy and you have nothing to do it seems. I have a very good job, I stay in fabulous shape throughout the entire year and I'm always involved in helping kids. Try finding something that will take your time away from being a troublemaker. Have a good day and I wish you luck with your new adventure.

Have a good day!

martialartswrestler and MVNUP, I can verify everything and my name is under my profile. I don't know the name of the coach but it did happen the way OldTimer said it happened. The only thing I would add is that I believe they were buckeyes around his neck.
