Just looking at how close the matches are against non ranked apponents that other are beating easily. Yet he stays atop the rankings, 1st in 6A 2nd in All class. I guess he just likes to keep his matches close with low scoring. He is a great wrestler but not sure the criteria of being number 1 and number two are there.
(This should be on the 6A thread, but I'll answer a quote from this thread)
Here is some of my criteria on 6A/112:
#1 Isaac Ruiz
Isaac is a returning State Champion. He beat Witten, Windham and an undefeated Vesta on the way to his title. His wins at 112 this year include:
Alan Callahan - #1/4A
Caleb Seaton - #2/5A
Troy Bainter - #2/321A
Dane Norris - #3/6A
Uylesses DeShazer - #5/6A
#2 Dalton Miller
3rd place at State in 08 with a 19-11 record. He is undefeated at 112 this year and from what I am told, is looking huge at that weight. His wins at 112 this year include:
Adrian Salas - #1/5A
Nathan Reed - #4/4A
Tim Prescott - #4/5A
Having said that, these two are likely destined for a great match at State. Ranking Dalton at #2 is in no way a slight. It would not surprise me at all to see him win the whole thing.
