Anyone know of any camps that are bit longer in comparison to others taking place over the summer? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I spent a month with J. Robinson in Minnesota (a long time ago!) and it remains one of the defining experiences of my life.

This camp is especially useful for wrestlers that need to work on the physicality aspect of wrestling - you will leave in much better shape than you started wink Needless to say it is also a test of mental toughness.

It also has great technique, though...

Perhaps if it's your sophomore or junior season summer considering you will of course be Junior's and Senior's would I only recommend a 21-28 day camp...there is essentially _no time off_ your body is in super shape going into the camp ...

Everyone's heard of Cael's Iowa State Camp; OSU's John Smith's camp; J. Rob's camp. Especially Cael's and J. Rob's they have different color of t-shirts for the level of intensity that you do in training for their camps. Definitely worth the $$ to improve in your all around ability. I've also heard about Ohio State's program as well....many to look into for the summer and compare what works best for you and what you need to developl.

In it to win it.

If you're looking for a longer camp I suggest Ken Chertow's Camp. He has a "supergold" option that's worth looking into. Website is www.kenchertow.com, might be what you're after.

Oklahoma state has a two week conditioning camp but it is more running and lifting than wrestling.... would get you in awesome shape though!
