Tell me more about the Senior Classic. Better yet, is there a web page?

I think these guys are all seniors. These are some of the matches I would like to see. I am sure I missed some guys. The group putting the thing together will have a better handle on who can come or have already committed to the match.

Big vs Small - Not sure if guys can move down or what the weight allowances are. They always have a couple match ups in the same weight.

Big vs Small

103 Windham vs Cole
112 Vesta or Wenzel vs Callahan or Ornelas
119 Wauer or Vesta vs Furches or Sparr
125 Lawrence vs Peters
130 Cox vs Geist
135 Maple or Tovar vs Napier or ??
140 Dikin or Peoples vs Zahorsky or Jesseph
145 Means or Crank vs Zoglman, Rempe, Spangler
152 Fulbright, Watson, Sutherland vs Newell or Sommer
160 Caldwell or Detmer vs Rempe
171 Feldcamp, Nelson, Hinckley vs Arnberger or Tyler
189 Beard or Davis vs Bortz or Bugbee
215 Cole or Nowak vs Kriss or Kyler
Hwt Westmoreland or Marquez vs Keener or Devader

Good list. Hope to see some of these matchups.
Armstrong and Caylor are not seniors.

Here are the matchups i would like to see.
at 135 Maple and Napier
at 171 Arnberger and Feldcamp
at 215 Beard and Kriss i know beard wrestled at 189 but Kriss is a small 215 and that would be worth the price of admission.

Kriss small? He looks HUGH. I'd like to see that match up to but (to state the obvious) will probably never will.

Is Zac Sparr a Sr? The state book had him listed as a Junior.

I'm pretty sure his walking weight is just over 200lbs.

I think you are missing someone at 140. Bainter is a 4 time placer. Current state champ.

I am sure I missed many more guys that are worthy of being in such an event. I have nothing to do with the selection committee.
Someone will always be left off. It is very tough just to get the kids to committ to these events - a month after their season is over. It might be a good idea to do one of these the night before a subdistrict or district kids tournament and rotate it every year to another district or subdistrict. The guys would not be as out of shape - possibly. Just a thought.
