Emporia High School has openings for assistant wrestling coaches. Emporia High School has a very rich tradition in wrestling; the program just won its 10th team State Championship this year, won its 31st Centennial League Team Championship, and have won 470 duals. We have also had 44 individual State Champions, and over 200 State Placers. Below are a few qualities we will be looking for in an assistant wrestling coach.
(1) Have a vast knowledge of wrestling and have the abilty to pass that knowlidge on to high school athletes.
(2) Have a love of working with high school athletes.
(3) Have strong organizational skills
(4) Be a positive role model and reponsible
(5) Have strong leadership skills
