If you elect to weigh-in off-site please make sure that you have pre-registered with www.trackwrestling.com by 5:00 pm on Friday night 5/8/2009. If you are not registered you will not be entered in the Tournament. Entrees after 5:00 pm will only allowed in person for $35.00 you will be required to weigh on Friday night after fees are paid in cash.

If you elect to weigh-in off-site you must check-in at Manhattan High School Gym by 8:30 am or you will be SCRATCHED from the tournament. No Exceptions you will forfeit your entry fees.

To start by 10 am Saturday morning the bracketing needs to be implemented by 8:30. Please understand that there needs to be very strict time line to be able to maintain a reasonable finish time for the day.

Thank you for your cooperation with these details. It is our intention to run a smooth uneventful tournament. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Loc: Overland Park, KS We are going to offer a satellite weigh in Overland Park KS at St. Thomas Aquinas in the wrestling room on the east side of the high school for the Manhattan FS/GR tourney on this Friday 5-8-09 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. We will need your name and date of birth information to send back with your weight to the tournament organizers.

There will NO registration at this weigh-in. You will have to already have registered via trackwrestling.com.

This will help some of the wrestlers save the expense of a motel or hotel room and/or allow you to sleep in Saturday morning an extra hour or two before you would need to depart for Manhattan Saturday morning. Hope this helps make it easier for some of the wrestlers to make the decision to wrestle on this Saturday. We hope to see as many as possible of you there wrestling. It is another great opportunity to get ready for State and a chance to wrestle some other quality opponents from that area of Kansas. Take advantage of the opportunity!

Loc: Overland Park, KS Also Coach Gonzales has posted that all those weighing in at a satellite location like this one at Aquinas in Overland Park on this Friday night must still check in at Manhattan High School on Saturday 5-09-09 by 8:30 AM or they will be scratched so plan accordingly.

Great tournament Gonzo!
Well run. My boy got three good FS matches against high quality competition and we didn't have to spend the whole day to get it. He also could have gotten some greco exhibitions if we wanted to but it was his first FS/GR tournament and I thought FS was enough for his first time. We were out in no time and enjoyed the afternoon.
The registration process and satellite weigh-ins were very convenient and thus very helpful. Everyone should offer the weigh-in option. My boy had a track meet Friday night and the satellite made it possible for him to compete in the track meet and get enough sleep to be ready to wrestle Saturday.
All of the workers were very courteous and hospitable. The officials were fair and respectful.
Thanks!
