Wow. That is lame. Which roads are they looking at?
Bishop Ward, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley Northwest, Lansing, Leavenworth, Louisburg, Olathe NW, Tonganoxie, Wyandotte. All short drives.

America is being pussified. We have more snow days in a year than I had in my 12 years in school. Ridiculous! We now manage on the lottery system. If there is a chance, no matter how slim, that something bad could happen we better not do it.
Does anyone know how I can request the addition of pussify to Webster's???

I hope they don't cancel Bonner Springs...
I agree - it will be cold but the roads will be clear. And for once maybe it won't be too hot in the gym!

Call Billy Ross or the AD and see if you can get added to the Derby tournament?? Harrah, OK just dropped out so there is room for at least one. Lansing, come on down!
THIS YEAR Kansas would need to send an All Star team to hang in the Clash. Even Park Hill with six Fargo AA's is challenged by a lack of depth.

Still wouldn't hurt to give them a call. You can't get this weekend back. Mat time is a terrible thing to waste!

you are right about being pussified, my kid can't go to school, because it's too cold. wow. now granted the county roads have some dangerous drifts, but the only roads that are slick are in town and have been for two weeks. i don't know of any road county or otherwise that is closed. by the way he isn't a pussy, he's only 5, but he played in the snow most of the last two hours. i've been in it all day and i can tell ya it's cold. but if your not an idiot and dress for it you will survive. how do they ever do it in iowa and the dakotas?

A few years back Greg Strobel(Lehigh Head Coach) wrote a column about the pussification of High School Wrestling. It really caused a disturbance with the NFHS. He is right though, this is not tennis, it is a contact sport. Way too many potenitally dangerous and illegal moves restrict our sport. Same way with these snow days. Everyone is afraid of lawsuits and insurance claims. If school A cancels and School B 10 miles away does not, and there is an injury on the roads of a School B student traveling to/from school. Watchout! Ambulance Chasers love this scenario!!
